The favourable conservative group Americans for job security has bought up online in New Hampshire ad, touting the work of the Governor of Texas Rick Perry "loser pays" tort reform legislation.
Continue reading web ads to an AJS request link highlighting economic register of Perry: "Texas leads the nation in job creation due to his pro-growth economic policies." In the past two years, Texas, led by Governor Rick Perry, has created more jobs than any other State... "Losing tort reform pay eliminates a harmful barrier to the creation of employment". (See one of the web ads here).AJS President Steve DeMaura, former executive director of the New Hampshire Republican party, also has an opinion on daily NH stating "tort reform should be wrenched national attention, and presidential debate in New Hampshire is the place to do so".
This is not the first AJS push to praise Perry on the reform of the liability: DeMaura co-author of an opinion of Wall Street Journal with Chuck Norris 10 days ago on the same subject. But now, the love of Perry comes amid increasing speculation about the Governor of Texas as a possible final candidate in the presidential race. Web advertising of New Hampshire is not going to launch a presidential campaign in orbit, but is a sign that some people on the right want to keep the name of Perry - and its policies - in the mix.
It should be noted that one of the main American consultants of job security is Dave Carney, political adviser to Perry who resigned last week the campaign of Newt Gingrich.
