"Clean" of the GOP Bill fails right on programming

Symbolic of Republican House to raise the ceiling of the debt without spending cuts was rejected on Tuesday, just as planned. The draft law which implies an increase in the limit of debt to us $ 16.7 billion, which only received 97 votes, all of them Democrats. While the seven Democrats voted present, 82 voted against the Bill, along with all 236 Republicans. The Republicans in the House of representatives announced their intention to submit a bill last week, which do not expect a complete and guarantee to do so by placing under the suspension of the rules (which requires a two-thirds majority approve). Chair of media Dave Camp (R - Michigan) gave a short address Tuesday night as the main author of the Bill and said: "this vote, a vote based on the legislation I introduced, will and must fail." "Now, the majority of the members not happy when they bring a Bill to the floor and there is an error, but I consider defeating a unconditional rise to be a success, because it sends a clear and critical message that Congress has finally recognized need to immediately begin to reign in the affection of the United States for deficit spending." Having the opportunity to send a message clear, camp highlighted the failure of the draft law as imperative for its purpose.

Vote on the motion "clean" that it was originally programmed by representative Eric Cantor (R - va) in response to both Welch representative of Peter (D-VT). List Charter 114 Democrats call for a vote "clean", as well as a request for the Obama President. The Republican Party hoped that the vote would fail to demonstrate the Democrats that such a draft law which only increased the debt ceiling without includes cuts in expenditure cannot be considered a possibility due to their inability to pass a vote of the House. Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) minority and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD.) voted no with Republicans, refusing to participate in what they see as an act in the political theater. Both sides have scheduled meet Obama next week to discuss the proposed programme budget.
