Maggie and I have a piece on the home page that outlines the five larger questions about the debate in New Hampshire: (1) that balances more difficult in Mitt Romney?; (2) How Newt Gingrich will try to hit the reset button?; Any(3) will recall Tim Pawlenty?; Do(4) can Michele Bachmann look presidential?; and (5) Will Herman Cain give serious answers to serious questions?
Continue reading as we are both on the ground at St. Anselm College to try to answer these questions and more. Meanwhile, the campaigns have aligned spokespersons and validators to talk to the press after the debate. Here are the names of Hall of twist that we know so far:-Romney: New Hampshire Senate leader of the majority Jeb Bradley, former State Attorney General Tom Rath, leading strategist for New Hampshire Jim Merrill, Member of the Romney Committee finance Austin Barbour, among others
-Gingrich: Jackie Cushman and Kathy Lubbers, daughters of the candidate
-Santorum: Councillor John Brabender and national political director Mike Biundo
-Paul: Political advisor to Jesse Benton
-Cain: Herman Cain represent himself
-Bachmann: Senator Kent Sorenson (via Peter Hamby) of the State of Iowa
-Pawlenty: TBA
- And for the Democrats: Director of communications DNC Brad Woodhouse is in St Anselm "to examine the records of the Republican's failed fiscal leadership and respond candidates for the many mistruths which, no doubt, we are going to hear from them," by an official of the DNC.
