After the departure of the former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee 2012 presidential race, seems Obama President has gone better, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has been the worst in the polls in the State of Wisconsin, hopes that a critical swing state during the general election.
According to a poll from public policy published on Friday, President Obama approval rating has jumped 3 points to 52 per cent, up from the same survey in February but Huckabee with potential as a rival. His disapproval rating fell one percentage point, increasing the rate by double to 8 points. Speaker Gingrich, who faced only 26% of favorability in February fell 9 points to 15% and his disapproval rating shot up 18 points in the span of three months, of 67%, beating former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin as a potential candidate with more ground to gain in disapproval. Current classification of Palin from the results amounted to 32% approval, the highest probable presidential candidates and 63% disapproval. Also carried with their results the more definitive responses from these surveys, only 5% were confident in their favour of Palin, compared to 22% are not sure about former Governor Mitt Romney. Former Governor Romney has the most room for improvement with 22% are not sure, as his favorability rating is only 29 per cent among the residents of Wisconsin, and his unfavorable rating less than half, 49 per cent.
Chairman of the Committee on budget and Wisconsin representative Paul Ryan has the advantage of the majority in a presidential party against the Obama President, leading, but with little more than a handful of points between them (7) and 7% of respondents said that they were unsure between the holder and the author of the recent proposal of the GOP budget. Also led to less favorable and unfavorable ratings of all presidential/potential candidates with 41 per cent said that they approved of Ryan and only 44 percent saying they disapproved, even if his budget plan still appear in the headlines. Obama President said the highest rating of favorability (50%) among voters independent and third party, the key demographic for the State highly politically polarized.
The public policy poll was taken among the 19 May and 22 May and 1636 potential voters Wisconsin, which it identified as 37% of respondents democratic, 32% Republican and 31 per cent of Independent/3rd parties. Of respondents, 30% considered that they are moderate, 23% said something conservative, 10%, 20% something liberal and 17% somewhat conservative very liberal.
