Iowa to Romney: "Where Have You Been?"

Hard pressed for an answer during a brief Forum with Iowans after his expected return to the first in the State of the nation group, candidate of the Republican Mitt Romney presidential nomination will have much explain to during his first visit to Iowa since last fall.

After spending millions in State in 2008 and finishing second to former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee of the conclave, with a difference of almost ten points between the two, Romney is well aware of the difficulties which may face his campaign in Iowa, but said that the residents, a strongly conservative crowd with a focus on social issues in recent times, it will be "get to know him better than [that] last time" in the 2012 election season. And while Romney recognizes the importance of a State like Iowa, knows that he must face the greatest aspect of the race, win the nomination and then the general election and that people who realize that the same fact will understand that his campaign may not be added to each key point but it should be extended at the national level.

"We do what we think is best calculated to enable it to become the candidate and for me to win the White House", Romney said that when asked about his agenda during his reception yesterday, "those who support my message will say that it is exactly what you do."

Governor Romney understand that Iowa is a State of "win or bust" for him, however, is much more than a number of candidates from lower levels facing its fund-raising machine. A key victory in Iowa for a candidate such as Tim Pawlenty would probably be enough to boost his campaign after the end of the first primary in the summer months, in the efforts of fundraising on their own. And many of the lower level candidates have mentioned the August straw poll Ames, something the Romney has not yet "decision of 100%," which could disappoint Iowans still further and send their support to other more visible candidates, as Pawlenty, or representative of Texas Ron Paul, who opened an Office of campaign in the right state before his announcement of candidacy for this month, or representative Michele Bachmann, who, like Pawlenty, has an advantage of proximity on many of the other candidates.
